The website checker

What we collect

• The website address you enter.
• The results of the check: what we saw on that site's public pages, such as tracking tags, what reached Meta and Google, product data, pages or photos that failed to load, and screenshots of the homepage and one wine page.
• If you leave an email for the full report: your email address, your name and winery if you give them, and whether you ticked "Send me occasional tips on winery ad tracking."
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used to limit how many checks one connection can start. We do not store the IP address itself.

Why

• To run the check, show the score and issue titles on this site, and show the full report and a private link that works for 7 days after you give an email.
• To keep a record of the reports we send, so we can answer questions about them and follow up about the fixes. We record the date when a report link is first opened.
• To send occasional tips, only if you ticked the box.
• To stop spam and automated abuse.

The site you check

We load its public pages like a visitor would and block the tracking requests our visit would send, so the check does not count in that site's analytics or ads. We never add anything to a cart or start a checkout, and we respect its robots.txt.

The contact and manual check forms

We collect what you type: your name, email, winery, what you need and your message, plus your website and ad details for a manual check. We use it to reply. It is sent to our mailbox, hosted by Hostinger, and kept as long as the lead records above.

Emails from us

We do not email the report. We reply when you write to us. We send tips only if you ticked the box. Replying "unsubscribe" to any email stops them.

AI Visibility & Shopping Feed

AI Visibility & Shopping Feed (formerly Advanced Shopping Feed) is a Commerce7 app. It turns your products into feeds for Google, Meta, Wine-Searcher and Vivino, and its AI Visibility part makes your wine pages readable to AI assistants. It reads only your products and your store settings from Commerce7. It does not read customers, orders or club members, and it keeps no data about your site's visitors.

What we keep

• Your Commerce7 tenant ID, the date you installed the app, and your feed settings.
• Your product information as it appears in the feeds: names, descriptions, prices, stock, images and product codes. We keep the last two versions so the app can show what changed.
• The published feed files, which are public so the channels can read them. See our terms.
• A short log of installs, uninstalls and feed rebuilds for your account.
• While you use the app inside Commerce7, a sign-in session with your tenant ID and a temporary Commerce7 access token. Sessions expire within a day.
• If AI Visibility is on for your store: the website address you check, a summary of what each crawler got back from your public pages in your last 10 checks (such as status codes, page titles, structured data and robots.txt rules), and the wine content built from your products.
• Your AI Visibility site keys, stored only as one-way hashes, with the label you gave each key, its last four characters, when it was created and last used, and the address your site asked us to send update notices to.
• Hosted wine page addresses you add, such as wines.yourwinery.com, with the results of their DNS checks.

Visitors and crawlers

Hosted wine pages and the files behind the AI Visibility script tag are served from our server, so visitors and crawlers who load them connect to it, and it sees their IP address and browser like any web server. It uses the IP address only for a short-lived rate limit held in memory, and does not store it or anything else about them. When your web server fetches wine content with a site key, we see that key, the server's IP address and your site's address.

Names and descriptions you edit for each channel are saved on the product in your own Commerce7 account, not by us.

Where, and for how long

On our servers at Fly.io in the United States. Billing is handled by Commerce7, so we never see payment details. When you uninstall the app, the feed files, sign-in sessions, AI Visibility content and checks, your saved website address and your hosted wine page addresses are deleted at once, and your site keys stop working. Your settings and product copies are kept so a reinstall picks up where you left off, until you ask us to delete them using the address below.

Our WordPress plugins

Our WordPress plugins keep their settings in your own WordPress database, and do not send us any data about your site's visitors. They contact a service only after you turn on the matching setting. For example, 7Labs Winery Integration downloads your public product feed from feed.dmitru.com twice a day, which tells us only which feed was requested, the IP address of your web server and your site's address, which WordPress adds to every request it makes. The AI Visibility plugin fetches your wine content and its own updates from the same address with your site key, which tells us that key, the IP address of your web server and your site's address. Each plugin's readme lists every service it connects to and what it sends.

Analytics and security on this site

• Google Analytics counts visits to this website. Google sets cookies to do that.
• Google reCAPTCHA checks form submissions for spam. It loads when you start using a form, and Google's privacy policy and terms apply to it.
• Cloudflare delivers this site and protects it from attacks, which means it processes your IP address.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to target ads. These services process it for us: Fly.io (the scan service and AI Visibility & Shopping Feed), Notion (lead records), Hostinger (email and website hosting), Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA), Cloudflare (delivery and security) and Let's Encrypt (certificates for hosted wine page addresses, which, like every certificate, are listed in public certificate logs).

Deleting or seeing your data

To get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email [email protected] from the address in question. We reply within 30 days.

Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes and contact

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
